The Personal Journey Behind This Project
If you're here, thank you. Whether you clicked out of curiosity or I personally sent you this, I built this space for people like us, the ones trying to make sense of their own patterns.
This website wasnāt built for fame, for likes, or to go viral. It was built for me, and anyone else like me. People trying to understand why they feel the way they do, why some connections feel electric while others feel like silence, why they care deeply in a world thatās emotionally shallow.
We live in the Matrix. TikTok. Instagram reels. Porn. Dopamineās everywhere. Fast content. Fast love. Fast goodbyes.
But attention? Real attention? Thatās rare.
People donāt take the time to know anyone anymore. They swipe, get a hit of connection, and ghost when things get real.
When your phone breaks, you try to fix it. You donāt throw it away unless itās truly outdated or useless.
So why donāt we treat relationships with the same patience?
This project is my response to that mindset. It took me 27 years to begin understanding myself, and I realized something: You canāt understand someone in a week, a month, or even a year. Understanding takes patience. Time. Repetition. Care. Thatās what love is.
I spent nights reflecting. Alone. Looking in the mirror and replaying my life, decision by decision. In that solitude, I discovered a book called Attached. That book gave me language for things Iād always felt but couldnāt name. I realized my reactions werenāt random, they were patterns. My attachment style explained a lot.
I used to think only women created drama when they didnāt get attention in relationships. Turns out, thatās not a gender thing. Thatās a human response to emotional disconnection. Thatās protest behavior. Or sometimes⦠itās deactivation.
Iām still learning. Some people donāt get it, they think once youāre married or committed, none of this theory matters. But I disagree. Because theory turns into action. And action turns into habits. And habits build (or break) relationships.
Realization is everything. Loving someone isnāt just about chemistry or compatibility. Itās a decision. A discipline. A daily act of seeing, hearing, understanding, and staying.
āMy wife used to fart in her sleep.ā
From Good Will Hunting
Might sound silly, but itās one of the most profound moments in the film. Sean wasnāt talking about romance, he was talking about real. Real love lives in the mundane. In the quirks. In the little things you grow to adore.
āYouāre just a kid. You donāt have the faintest idea what youāre talking about.ā
From Good Will Hunting
Itās a reminder that reading about love isnāt the same as living it. You can highlight every page in every book, but you wonāt understand it until itās your heart on the line.
āThe past is just a story we tell ourselves.ā
From Her (2013)
And maybe thatās the beauty of healing. You donāt erase the past, but you rewrite how it shapes you.
š Where This Journey Started
Before building this site, I launched another project:
š Discover Your Love Language
That was my first attempt at turning self-reflection into something interactive and shareable. It started with a Google Form. This one? It started with a PDF.
At first, Iād send people a static file and have them tally up their attachment scores manually. But I knew that wasnāt enough. Not because the info wasnāt good, but because the delivery didnāt plant the seed deeply enough. Iāve realized something: not everyone will read the books that changed my life. But if I turn those ideas into an experience? If I can get someone to pause for 5 minutes and see themselves a little clearer, Iāve done my job.
Maybe we are in the Matrix of the subconscious.
Maybe Tyler Durden lives there.
Maybe Iām just Leonardo DiCaprio from Inception, trying to plant one thought in your head.
This quiz isn't just answers. Itās a red pill.
Not a fix. Not a diagnosis.
But maybe the first shift in how you view your patterns, your needs, and your wiring.
So if you're still reading this, and you havenāt taken the quiz yet...
